The hype made it completely uninteresting for me. TV specials and magazines have been going over all the nifty little mentioned theories for one- or twohundred times now, there'd just be no tension left at all. *sigh*

I thought the book was lousy, and I'm not about to pay 10 bucks to see a movie based on a lousy book. It isn't a new idea, and without novelty there isn't much to recommend it.
That being said, I'm not about to pay $10 to see most things that come out. I generally only see one or two movies a year, but I'm not making the Da Vinci Code one of them.

It pisses me off that people are making it out to be more than it really is. its fiction, its just really believable because he's a really good author.
LMAO! I felt the same way while playing Return to Castle Wolfenstien.

If he's a really good author, I'm the reincarnation of Shakespeare. The man couldn't even create a new plot and his characters are weak. The popularity of the book stems purely from the fact the man dredged up an old and highly controversial idea and rewrapped it.

So I'm not the only one who got that impression. Guess that means that there's still some sanity left in this world... oh great.

Bloody sane people... keep on popping up on the weirdest occasions... lunatics...

Im beginning to think that everybody here thinks the exact opposite on everything that the rest of the world thinks.
Although the movie has gotten bad reviews, ive heard people are laughing during the most crucial point in the movie.
