God, that would suck. I guess Yahtzee is(/was) angry because he'd originally wanted to have people test the game with music, so that he would get (somewhat) unbiased critique about the songs' fitting into the atmosphere of the game's scenarios. No time for that now. Right? ohmy.gif

I'm a journalist myself, surely with such a long time to develop the score, mOds could have at least produced SOME of the music? (I'm assuming that all the music is from RPG maker, due to his above statement).
Deadlines are there for a reason... I realise that he's not doing it for [much] monetary gain, if any, but it's still sad to think that we'll miss out on his work.

Man when is it gonna be released coz its like 8:20am already! That too of the 25th! Well I guess its not that far now smile.gif But I'm depressed that m0ds couldnt do it since poor Yahtzee waited for him to complete the music and had extended the deadline coz of it. Oh well, thats life. unsure.gif

I feel myself inclined to disagree. Thankfully, I am able to distance myself. I do not personally know m0ds, though I wish I did so this fiasco might have been averted. There might be some of m0ds' tunes in there and hopefully there are.

How familiar are you with the scoring process? I have been toying with scores and the like on and off for a few years and found it to be a most frustrating thing.

I suspect a lot of people will be disappointed Icey; mods was given a deadline to do a job, he failed to complete said job. I'm not judging the guy, hell I loved what he did in Trilby's Notes!

I'm not familiar with the scoring process myself - I'm sure that it is a frustrating process, as is artwork, animation, plotting, etc. It is, however, his activity of choice, so one can only assume he is at least proficient at it.

To end, I'm not getting further into this - the old "fighting on the internet is like winning the special olympics" argument is true. I'm saddened by the loss of m0d's music, and disappointed the guy didn't meet his deadline, but the games were never solely about the music.
