n 1997, Lucas re-released the original Star Was trilogy, adding a few minutes to each film and calling each of them a special edition. If we wait 20 years, perhaps he’ll authorise a special edition of Attack of the Clones. It was a pity then to ruin our experience of the masterpiece by seeing the current, inferior version at the cinema. Film historians please note: Star Wars: Episode VI: A New Hope: The special edition was the first movie ever to be released with three colons in its title.

If Lucas is still alive 20 years from now... which may be possible with today's medical technology.

Don't worry. If medical technology can't keep him alive, there's always illegal cloning with overexpression of the obedience gene and knockout of the evil gene.

And perhaps forced to produce good versions of all of the PT films.
Apparently writing about JM here is his secret weakness. Muwahaha!!!! Now I have leverage over him and am another step closer towards my goal of world domination.
"And the Evil that was vanquished shall rise anew. Wrapped in the guise of man shall he walk amongst the innocent and Terror shall consume they that dwell upon the Earth. The skies will rain fire. The seas shall become as blood. The righteous shall fall before the wicked! And all creation shall tremble before the burning standards of Hell!" - Mephisto
Kurgan X showed me this web comic done with Legos. It pokes fun at all six Star Wars films and I found it to be extremely entertaining.

Please note that that is a problem with the "special" editions. Three colons, all of which are plugged, and the shit is building and building and building...

I doubt we will have to wait 20 years for the special editions of AOTC... with today's technology (and medical breakthroughs ), I give it just 8 years.

Nah, the Special Editions of the PT will come out next year just in time for Christmas, because in order to keep selling toys there has to be some kind of a Star Wars movie out in some format every year. The PT Special Editions will just have 50% more Gungans!!! Oh the Horror!
