As I understand it, people can rate posts as positive or negative, the idea being that good members get a high warning, and flamers are singled out, much like the warning system that mods have access to, but anybody can do it. So if somebody insults somebody for no reason, everybody marks them down. Which works well in theory. But unfortunatly, the boards are filled with zealous fans which can't tell the difference between critisism and constructive critisism. I've seen many posts where people have offered suggestions, only to have their portfolio ruined.

Oh, I don't think it works anything like that. It's simply a rating system. For example, it averages the rating people give your topic (from 1-5 stars). I don't think there's any way of searching the topic ratings of a user and judging them on that.

If it's anything like that I'll disable it. There's no sense in that.

Okay, it seems like everything is finally sorted. I'll be making minor cosmetic changes over the next few days.
