After all this nonsense goes down, we are treated to a terrifically anticlimactic scene where Chewbacca and his family sit down to have their Life Day meal. They all join hands and lower their heads. Then the credits roll. To everyone's shock and amazement, Alan Smithee is not involved with the project.
