Maybe its just wishful thinking, but did anybody ever notice how much Bastila looks like Kate Beckinsale? Jennifer Hale (or whoever did Bastilas voice) even kinda sounds like Kate.

Sometimes they do look a bit similar, but never heard their voices though, but isn't that normal anyway for competition?

From what I saw and still questionable, some actors appear to try and copy others in voices, clothes and style to get promotion, and public attention. I do not mean always. Still trying to find out the facts behind this, do you know of any?

No. Much like Stephen Colbert, I hate facts, books and bears.

I believe the developers admitted that Bastila's look was modelled on Kate Beckinsale.

The sandpeople had women and children. We know this because Anakin killed them how could he tell? The children might be smaller but I never saw a sandperson with breasts. Did they hike their skirts and show him some leg or something?

Also, I can see the point of wanting to kidnap a human and use her as a slave, but they didn't. They tied her to a flimsy easel for a month. It's assumed they had to feed and give her water. What for? Was she purely ornamental? I can understand them wanting the droids, you can sell those for a lot of money, but a chick who's only skills are finding non-existand mushrooms and getting randomly pregnant, you're not going to get much.

I did notice and I completely agree. It's a very happy thought. tongue.gif

I'm also sure that I read that the developer's used Kate as a model as Helena mentioned.
