So is this living for someone else’s purpose? Not much point in living in the first place as a doormat, but in this case of gloves. Could this be the solution for the majority; if you fail, don't get back up because you go down and stay down?
Rather than correcting the mistakes and given a chance to succeed, sounds like they are looked upon and valued like little matchboxes, roughly mass produced in that society that collects only the finest. I see competition typically happens when there are too many people, but looking as to why the culture is like that?

Perhaps it is time to get the weed killer out. Alternatively for those of you who have drug issues, try snorting over garden weeds, maybe healthier as for home grown, easy to find and most importantly free.

Like any plant depending on the type of weed, some are also toxic which may be needed for the effects.
