cakez, aye.

tributes to the birthplace of:

wayne gretzky, katelin from degrassi, skinny puppy, frontline assembly, Don McKellar, Molly Parker, and some other great talents too numerous to mention.

and for the hell of it i'm mentioning 'beachcombers'

and as a birthday present... i'd like to offer Canada Alaska.

Happy birthday.

Mr. Gretzky was born in the city I grew up in. As was Phil Hartman, who is infinitely cooler than Wayne will ever be.

A lady from California became a member of my video store, she showed me her idea, smiled, and said "don't worry, we're not all bad". I was like wtf? So I think many Americans feel guilty or some shit and Canadians know it. Many of us probably enjoy it too. I know my pals do.

Phil Hartman was a god!!! and i miss him horribly... but he never score a goal 8 seconds into his first game!!!

Funnily enough i have a SNL sketch of the two of them together "Fishing for the anal rententive sportsman" (and a few others).

And, you know, Hecc's name is based off of one of the characters...

Aye, poor Phil Hartman, may he rest in peace. I would have bought a monorail for my city too if he sang to me the reasons why. Not to mention News Radio, SNL and everything else he's been in.

Go Canada!
This space for rent. Inquire within.
