Is it as good as the trailers and commercials say? It looks beautiful...
I recently ordered FFXI, so when I get it I'll see how it works out...

No kidding? I want to check that one out. Is it better than the original? For some reason I could never really get into that game.

That was the ultimate MMORPG. But then Origin(The Company who made it) Got complaints upon complaints about the PvP aspect and how newbies kept getting killed.
So they turned the game into the most worthless piece of trash.
Grrrr.
I loved that game.

I recently got Final Fantasy XI, and since I have it all hooked up, I would play it if it wasn't so damn late...
I'll play it tomorrow and see what happens... lol

My friend is obsessed with EQ, bought FFXI, and trashed it because he already has uber chars on EQ, and didn't want to put in more game time with the same stuff.
Diablo 2 is simple but lots of fun.
I was looking forward to Pandora Tomorrow's multiplayer mode. It looked totally badass in previews. The story was the same boring blah I've come to expect from Tom Clancy novels/games. I'm more of a Metal Gear fan methinks. Twin Snakes was spiffy, although I've never played the original MGS, and it was very short.
Silicon Knights has said they want to do a realistic, mature take on Zelda, so I'll be waiting for the awe that is that, if their idea ever comes to fruition.
So in short, to me, MMORPGs are nothing more than lots of unrewarding pointing and clicking mixed in with ambiguously gendered characters who can't seem to spell correctly or show even marginal intelligence half of the time. However, I never played Ultima, so I dunno what that's like.

DDR Extreme's gonna be my pick for this year...although I've already played the arcade version enough that it really won't be new anymore. Inspired by a news article from last year, I'm going to try and beat the DDR marathon world record...I'm aiming for a good fifty hours of play. Guiness requires me to have a medical doctor present for the whole time though, which is the opposite of awesome. Do you have any idea how much it costs to buy a doctor for fifty hours? It's a lot, that's how much!

I'd challenge you, but I cannot.
