I support Cherry coke or pepsi, and little else though I'll drink anything but grape or orange soda.

Cherry Pepsi is blasphemy. Cherry Coke rules.

I liked cherry coke when they still had the all red and black bottle before they turned all pussy and changed it.

The one that looked like Darth Maul's face? Cause that one rocked. You can still see it on some vending machines.

What about Cream Soda? I love that stuff... but only in moderation though. You get sick of it after a while...

Sprite and 7up are both inferior to Sweppes or Guest Lemonade.  But Mountain Dew is superior to them all.

Dr Pepper is pretty universally hated over here.  I don't mind it, but can only have it in small quantities.

LEED lemonade... that was the best...

Coca-cola. Drink of the Southern gods. In the smallest glass bottle you can find.

Mountain Dew had a hillbilly running up the hill, one with a gun, and an outhouse on the old green glass bottle. "Tickles your innards."

7up bottles were green and had goose pimples. The Uncola was originally advertised as a hangover remedy.

There are still 7oz Dr Pepper bottles being produced somewhere out there.

Back to flavor country. If you can visit the world of coca-cola in Atlanta (& Las Vegas?), at the end of the tour there is a coke bar with coca-cola products from around the world. Drink all you want in little cups. Dozens of dispensers. and FRESH.
I got some "March" Cokes tonight. smile.gif

Am I the only one that checks the date on my cokes? Whether it's a can or a 12-pack, I want it to be as fresh as possible.

I like Mountain Dew. the machine at work has the coke version; Mello Yello, but it's always sold out and it doesn't alert you until it's taken your money. Then the coke it dispenses turns out to be stale. angry.gif

7up is as good as MD, if I don't want caffiene. A 12-pack of Diet Mt. Dew and I've once again acquired a taste for it, and there's like, no calories.

Dr Pepper was my favorite as a boy. I like it for lunch as a change of taste.

Its funny you mention coke in the glass bottles because its the only way i will drink coca cola, for some reason it just tastes wayyyyy better out of the bottle like that, and i work at a supermarket and see the coke drivers all the time so i will ask about the dr. pepper glass bottles.

I love cream soda.. Can't get this in this country, though, so I had not time to get sick of it...

But nothing beats ginger ale for me, I am surprised nobody's mentioed it so far.

I only drink it with Whiskey, so I don't think of it much as a soft drink.

It's been years since I last tried ginger ale, so I can't remember if I liked it or not.

Interesting fact I recently found out: 7-Up used to have lithium in it. Cocaine in Coke and lithium in 7-Up. Imagine if they made a soda with Ritalin in it!
