Graduation In which I simply say "Yay me!"

Ladies and gentlemen of the forum (and some other people), as of...er...some time between 2:00 and 3:00 pm CST, I am officially a high school graduate. Since the happiness and relief is currently clouding my judgment quite well right now, I just wanted to announce this to everybody.
So...Yay me, no more high school! Now I just have to worry about getting ready for college this fall!
...ah...
Also, a few specific hugglers (you know who you are) should know that due to this celebratory euphoria, I am, for the first and ONLY time, willing to be huggled. Just get it over with before I change my mind.

I hope I'm one of those specified, privileged hugglers you mentioned.
Shut your eyes, clench your teeth...here it comes...
A quick, proud hug, soon over, and not too painful.
Congratulations much-loved and admired Janey.
I hope the next stage in your life is exciting, intriguing, in short all you want it to be...oh, and fun.

I left high school a year early and never looked back. I keep in contact with a total of three (3) people from that period in my life, and have sworn off contact with several others. I also try to avoid walking past the building, or breathing when within a 2-mile radius of it, but I'm a little paranoid like that.

Well, if you're sure you're not going to tear me a new orfice if I try...
*hugs Jane*
Well done, our Jane!
On a similar note, I only have one week of sixth form left, a month of exams, and I never have to go back to school either!
Then its either university, or living in a flat with a mate and his Dutch girlfriend. Whatever. Its getting out of my god damned house at any rate.

(*grins and blushes*)
Thanks for the congrats and everything. Now I feel slightly less embarrassed for starting this post, and quite a bit more embarrassed for other reasons.
Weird thing, though, I'm missing people I never even liked. Is it normal to regret not socializing more and getting to know more than, oh, six or seven people? I just can't shake this weird feeling I have about it...it’s very disconcerting. Other than that though, I feel like I've just made it out of hell with my sanity...er...well, I made it out of hell, let's just leave it at that.
...but what the hell is a bunnymuffin?

Congratulations!
*huggles*
*huggles some more*
*huggles until Jane begins to like the huggles and says that she would like to be huggled in every post and to just ignore her sig*
Congrats on graduation, though.

Yes, it's normal - I have about the same thing. I actually made the effort to get to know about 10-20 people out of my entire year, and am left wondering if maybe I've missed out on something here.
On a lighter note: do you have to sit exams? What do you have to do to graduate?

Remember Emu's face, people; one day it's going to be on the news alongside a headline about blowing some landmark to smithereens, and then we can all sigh and say, "She was such a normal person".....
....We'd be lying though.

I think I was the only person at my highschool who was glad to get the hell out. But then again, I'd love to relive those years. I'd sure do it a hell of a lot differently. Especially considering that I wouldn't need to worry about grades, and could focus on socialising.
