That Boredoms track is amazing. I lose track of how awesome their sound is during that period. I love their early shriek/squeal/clunk/thud/pow noise rawk type stuff, and I like the recent sort of spacey futuristic hippie vibe that I get from stuff like "Seadrum" but their neo-Psych 90s stuff is fucking astounding.
Lightning Bolt - "13 Monsters" (Try to ignore the weird and unnecessary Gumby intro)
Black Dice - "Kokomo"
And of course, the greatest piece of music video that has ever been made... Barnes & Barnes - "Fish Heads"

Gah, I saw that last video (Fish Heads) on accident when I was like 4... It creeped the fuck out of me then, and it still gives me a sort of nostalgic heeby-jeeby now. Love the song, though...
I am writing about Jm in my signature because apparently it's an effective method of ignoring him.

The Melt Banana concert was awesome woo. The drive was dangerous, the openers sucked and the venue was in the middle of the worst ghetto I've ever seen, but seeing the Bambi's Revenge tour was worth it. It's 4:30 in the morning and I need to be doing homework so I'll stop talking now.

Christmas cheer from Heccubus and Ivan Hrvatska:
Is that the guy who sued the comedian who did Borat for imitating him?

DJ Blaqstarr & Rye Rye - "Shake It To The Ground"
Simple, catchy as hell despite the near-absence of anything but a beat and Rye Rye's stellar flow, and just generally awesome. Why can't all hip hop be this much fun?
