91 Reasons to Hate Episode III Revenge of the Sith Articles Have Begun!

I guess the lightning could have had an adverse effect on Yoda's face but he's so ugly already that it's difficult to tell.
Still no explanation as to why Luke and Anakin get off with no facial scarring. Well, I guess it could be the Skywalker genes. Or we could just blame it on the dark side clousing the Force, that seems to be the old standby for anything that doesn't make any sense.
As for the gray, it's in Obi-Wan's temples.
Example #1
Example #2
There's a great special feature (not sure where I saw it) where they show Ewan McGregor getting makeup for Obi-Wan in ROTS and he asks (as the makeup artist is putting the gray streaks at his temples): "How long has it been since the last movie?" Someone off camera answers: "Three years." Then Ewan says, "Man, that must've been a rought three years."

Something that has always bothered me in the prequel is fights involving two lightsabers against one. There are some japanese swordfighting styles that involve two swords, but the apparent advantage is balanced by having to handle two heavy swords with just one hand each. Plus, those styles usually involve shorter swords. So it's easy to realize that someone with one sword can beat someone with two with proper strategy.
With lightsabers, however, there is neither the problem of heaviness or the problem of range. And virtually nothing can defend a lightsaber strike except for another lightsaber. So it's very hard to believe that a person with just one lightsaber is able to defend all attacks from a person with two lightsabers or two persons with one lightsaber each. Unless, of course, the person with just one lightsaber is considerably more skilled or has an adequate weapon. That's why I tolerate the Darth Maul fight or the Count Dooku fight in Ep. III. Or Count Dooku against Anakin in Ep. II, since Anakin fights like a retard on that one.
The problem here is General Grievous. Not only the guy has four lightsabers, but he "has been trained in Jedi arts by Count Dooku". Now, Grievous might not be considered a experienced lightsaber fighter, or the brightest bulb in the box, but from one can see in Clone Wars, the guy can fight. So I'm quite unconfortable with the fact that Obi-Wan, who wasn't capable of hitting Dooku even with the aid of Anakin, is capable of defending himself from four lightsabers. Even more annoying is that fact that this happens because the so-called "trained in Jedi arts" cyborg apparently prefers to spin two sabers like a chainsaw instead of simply striking Obi-Wan with all four sabers at once, something that would finish the battle in a split second.
Hey, Keyper7, good to hear from you again!
I agree with your statements. Grievous's "chainsaw" attack, while not very skilled, should have been pretty unstopable, particularly to someone with one lightsaber. It's unclear why they didn't build more droids with lightsaber style weaponry.
Also, it's unclear why they didn't create ANYTHING (aside from Grievous, I suppose) to combat the Jedi. All they have is useless battledroids that can't even figure out to surround a Jedi by 360 degrees and all fire simultaneously.

Well they did have the Magnadroids, but yeah, you'd think they would have made shotgun droids and rocket launcher droids, etc. Nuclear, chemical and biological weapons? (since Jedi forego armor and space suits)
Then again the levels of Jedi power demonstrated in Clone Wars vs Episodes II and III is vastly different.

Fascinating theory! My new one is going to be that the Jedi were so pissed off after being killed, that they used their ghost spirit powers to follow these troopers around for eternity using little force pushes to throw off their aim constantly (it's the least they can do!).

lol
That could be the reason. And the dead Jedis took over there bodies during the battle of Endor. that's why they lost so bad.

Basically, all Jedi are born with a 'Force Bladder', a small, gladular organ that produces midichlorians, the creatures that give Jedi the power to control the Force. Yoda, being a jedi master and hundreds of years old, has a huge, swollen bladder that becomes full and heavy when he does not use the force. This swelling weighs him down, forcing Yoda to walk with a cane. However, when danger strikes, such as the battle with Count Dooku, his enourmous bladder opens up and he uses it's contents to rocket right off the ground.

I think they should just replace the entire movie with just Grevious kicking ass all over the place. Of course, they'd have to shrink it down to less then an hour, as I imagine that would get boring after a while.

The Properties of Lava (Sweat? Battle + Lava = No sweat)
This battle ends up with Anakin and Obi-Wan riding hover-platforms mere feet over a lava flow. Now, I'm all for fantastic fantasy elements in movies (particularly Star Wars movies), but suspending disbelief at this point is beyond difficult. Given that lava is generally around 2000 degrees Fahrenheit (1093 degrees Celsius), I find it difficult to believe that Anakin and Obi-Wan not only have no problems battling without bursting into flames, but that they don't even break a sweat! You would think that the stress and exertion of combat alone would cause at least a few beads of sweat to form on their brows. Of course, the mysteries of the Force always allow for apologist excuses in any case. They were most likely using the secret Force climate-control technique to keep cool.
If you check the DVD you can see that they DO sweat. Their faces are sweaty during most of the fight scene (I didn't check every frame.. this is one of those things you know they probably made some gaffes with). But clearly they ARE sweating. The lava is probably around 1200 degrees C (according to BadAstronomy.com's Phil Plait) so they should be dead, but uh... it's the Force.
Anyway, the error is just that you say they DON'T sweat, but they do!
Somebody let CE know if to check this, thanks.

The troopers in the OT are rookies. Only a select few of them are still clones due to the accelerated aging process (remember Obi-Wan's conversation with Lama Su on Kamino?) and these troopers had been trained since youth. The majority of the troopers in the OT are not clones, they are normal human beings that went through training at the Imperial Academy to become Stormtroopers and officers of the Imperial Navy. They are trained for a few months, if that. By the time of the OT, nearly 22 standard Earth years later, the clones would be either old, or dead due to the accelerated aging process. Sure, there might be a few thousand clones in the mix, but the vast majority of the troopers aren't cloned.

but seriously, you'd think the guys they have stationed on home base would be the elite...
if they have a height requirement, you'd think they'd at least be trained in firearms alittle better.
they are energy weapons, and should therefore be reasonably easy to use, as i imagine recoil should be somewhat illeviated by the technological advancement of surpassing shell usage.

You would think the ones on the Death Star or the major Star Destroyers should be the elite, and I think they are the elite... but those elite troopers may be the commanding officers, such as the Moffs and the Lieutenants, so on and so forth. It's pretty similiar to the military on Earth: Start out as grunts and work your way up in rank.
