How is it considered "taking over" if it's all free and open source?
They realise it to the public then charge for the upgrades when everyone is hooked.
That and Linus Torvalds is actually Finnish, He was attending the University of Helsinki at the time, but that hardly makes him a Soviet guy or Russian of any sort. He might even be offended if he wasn't a carefree easy going Fin.
I'm fairly certain there have been few Fins hell bent on taking over anything in recent history. Possibly way back in the Dark Ages where everyone was tribal, but since then - not so much.
The Linux system was based on another system that a soviet guy made... although he was trying to take over anything I was just making an anti-soviet statement.
Just what the fuck are you talking about? Linus Torvalds published the first Linux Version in September 1991, the Soviet Union fell apart in December 1991, but it was long dead before that. And hell, Linux was made as an operating system capable of doing the most basic and specialised tasks when he first announced it, which clearly shows that he didn't have any ambition on taking over the internet and software market. And if he really wanted to do that, then he'd be the most moronic moron I've ever seen, what with Linux being completely free and open to the public.
The first un-official linux system was made in 1896, if I find any info about Ill post it here.
