The playability is nearly endless. There's at least aver 100 hours of gameplay there and more side missions and fun things to do than you normally get in any other 10 games combined.
I just wanted to see what others thought about the games.

I wish they'd stop being crusaders for this kind of thing. They make superb, fine specimens of games... i wonder if they realize the brutal violence doesn't add, nor detract from a games overall awesomeness.

I don't really care if I'm shooting some cartel members or riding a koopa shell. If the game gives me an interesting, unique and highly replayable gaming experience then I'm going to buy it. Period.

Chef but what if you become some cartel member. Think about it. That game can make you evil incarnate. I played it once and had this unhealthy urge to deal cocaine down south.

You have to remember that for the longest time that was the ONLY game for the N64. Nintendo's huge release blunder made it so that for six months that was the only game for the system (I'm not including the other game Pilot Wings because it just sucked too much. It takes a pretty amazing game to carry a system for that long. I sure as hell spent six months playing it.
I was actually sad when I completed Mario 64. I went through and just kept playing and eventually just started over.
I must admit that I have had some rather unhealthy urges while driving around. I'm tempted to pass people by jumping up on the curb and cutting through people's yards and such.

I could never understand why Nintendo did not make sequels to Wave Race and Mario 64. Both games got stellar reviews and saved the launch of that machine. One game that was fun but FAR TO EASY was Star Fox 64. That is the only game that I have bought and beaten with in the first hour of playing. I sat on the floor with controller in hand totally shocked. I then found out that there is more then one route to beat the game, however these routes still possed no challenge. Great graphics, gameplay, but to damn easy.

I played the hell out of Star Fox and I agree that is was far too easy. I could probably do the first level blindfolded. I used to have that game at work and while I was waiting for clients (which was how I spent a lot of time) I would play that game. It got to the point where I could beat the game in about 40 minutes. The thing that killed me was that Paul beat the game once and had the high score. I played and beat the game at least 20-30 times after that and have yet to remove his high score from the cartridge.

YES! Dolphin Park, I placed such a ridiculous high score on that level that no one could touch it! I remember the secret was side ways front flips. My pal murdered Glacier Park, he would pull like 10 360's back to back lieing sideways on the ice flats.
We played that game none stop. One of the most enjoyable video game experiences I had was being snowed in my house with 4 friends. We played video games till we passed out for 3 days straight.
