Calling All Artists!
Need help with Chefelf's new webcomic

Hello all! I am trying to create a new webcomic. After many attempts at trying to draw the characters with my trackball I have come to the realization that it is just not possible. The trackball's poor handling, in conjunction with my lack of artistic skill, has made it very difficult to generate any acceptable images.

I have all of the character descriptions and "storyline" as it were but I wanted to post to see if there were any artists out there who may want to collaborate. Basically if you wanted to just create all the images of the characters so I could reuse them that may even be enough. If you wanted to create the images for each individual comic that's fine too. I'm willing

Things I will need
1.) Images of the all the characters
2.) Various backgrounds

So if anyone out there is interested in this possible collaboration then email me ( nate@lanceandeskimo.com ) and let me know. I will then send you a list of all the characters with descriptions and you can send me some samples. I will, of course, give any and all artists who contribute work full credit for their images.

If I don't get any responses then perhaps I'll just rob a CompUSA and steal a Wacom tablet like Paul's that I've been coveting for months now.

Excellent, thanks Hecc. Email me if you want to do it. WalrusofPlastic is also interested. I don't know how I'll make the various styles intermingle, but perhaps that will be part of the brilliance of it all!

additional: these are really huge scans of really small pictures (so note my penmanship is more accurate then it looks here) and will take a while for dial up to load.

also: please note that despite what everyone else thinks who looks at these pics, i am not a serial killer!

Those are some pretty nice pics., barend! I'm working on some illustrations for the comic right now and they're coming out pretty okay! I will always be looking for additional suggestions and ideas though. If anyone wants to send me any pics then feel free. I can't guarantee that I'll use anything but I appreciate any input that anyone has.

Hopefully I will have some comics up sometimes soon.

I'm withdrawing my application. I'm too busy right now, and don't have much time for drawing and so forth outside of my own work. Nuts to that.

I understand Hecc. I have gotten some great pics from Emu and hopefully we can collaborate on the project.
