Soulfly "Dark Ages". It was good, but not fuck-me-that's-mental as I'd expected.
SOAD "Hypnotize". See previous commentry.
And at some point, I'm going to coerce BitLord into downloading the new Ill Nino album.

Finally.....oh good lord finally..... 1 new slab of glorious vinyl:
The Beatles - Revolver
So this means I have every LP from Rubber Soul onward on vinyl. Aside from Yesterday And Today, which.....doesn't really count. It was one of the records created for the American market without the band's direct consent, so it doesn't really qualify as a Beatles record. Oh, and Yellow Submarine but I really dislike that album, so it won't happen.

Silver Mt. Zion- Horses in the sky
I've been meaning to check them out. Heard some comparisons to Godspeed You! Black Emperor and got kind of curious.
Any good?

Amazing. Their first couple of albums are a little too close to the Godpeed mold but since then they've added choirs and other vocal work to accompany the gorgeous instrumental work. They still haven't come up with a masterpiece like 'lift yr. skinny fists', but this new Zion album is perfect for these cold winter nights.

Just bought the Public Enemy greatest hits. Not sure if that was a good thing or not.
But just downloaded "The Butcher And The Butterfly" by Queen Adreena, which definatly was a good thing.

I'd say buying it was a good thing. Better things I've done, but it wasn't a bad thing.
Also, new Horrorpops album = lush.
