It goes back when it is shakened or moved roughly in certain angles.
With slight a slam on the table it has gone for now:
Possibilities:
(1) Hot weather and high temperatures on the base unit has crept up to the display causing the liquid to rise or move back in place through the cracks.
(2) The cracks become straight due to the heat with the lid shut.
(3) Some wires or connections are loose somewhere but allows flow at a certain temperature.
(4) The display has slowly recovered everytime it was left on from the day it was damaged by the flashing lines or from number 2.
I better be careful not to shake or roughly hold it on my lap.
Well that was a disappointment. Sometimes I just expect too much.
