I'm starting to listen to radio sermons a bit more with DR J Vernon Mcgee.
As of late I'm trying harder to be a better Christian. For a while I found the bible really boring and confusing. I use to like it, but then petered out for a bit.

I used to be christian until I discovered (by my own logic) that it was total bollocks. Since then I've been much happier not going to church and not feeling obligated by the rules of some ancient mythological figure.

As long as I'm going this way, try to explain why in the NT, god suddenly turns into everybody's best friend and starts forgiving people for stuff he would've smitten them for in the OT.

Admittedly, I did consider myself an atheist throughout high school, but I attended a Catholic school, and it was nothing more than petty rebellion at the time.

i don't fit into religion at all...
it just isn't me, and if your god doesn't like it i'm sure he'll let me know in the most horrible way, later...

I get to play every Sunday night in a variety of venues, with a bunch of great musicians. I can bring the xylo, the congas or a mix kit and praise God, so yeah, that rocks for many. And the collection keeps growing and prospering.

So, if you're religious or not, I don't really care - but if you start preaching at me and saying that my way of life is hopeless, leads to damnation and isn't actually a religious position then be prepared for a toasting.
