Battle for the Galaxy--read the "other Star Wars"
All I know is I haven't seen the real prequels yet.

But it did have SFX that were new, and dazzling on the big screen. Not the repeat draw for me as Jurassic park though.
Who didn't expect it to bomb before it's release? I thought it was DOA. It was LATE, a summer movie (as printed on the summer's concessions) that came out for Christmas. Just the fact it that it succeeded period is commendable.
It was a good time in my life. I'm sure that reinforces the memory.

I enjoyed titanic and consider it to be a far better film than any of the prequels. It may have been melodramatic but come on, Leonardo Dicaprio's character died, that's definately not a typical teen movie. I think if some of us would look past the popularity of the film we would all see that there is something to like about it. Critics actually enjoyed titanic and you have to admit that it succeeded as a tragic lovestory where the prequels have failed. If anything I'd be more comfortable if the prequels were more like Titanic and less like... welll... the prequels.
Come to think of it they really should have had a similiar feel to titanic, hear me out. Guy and girl meet eachother on a big sinking ship, get in a fight with some evil fellow and go through all sorts of bad situations, only for the guy to drop below the surface in the end. (and come on, this scene was emotional beyond anything we've seen yet in the prequels.) Instead we got a vastly overcomplicated story of a guy who met a girl as a child and fell in love iwth her and left his mommy because he wanted to only then he didnt and it was Obiwans fault and some other guys come in and attack him but randomly die and get replaced and blablablabla.
Yes, I have no qualms about saying that the PT makes me long for the relative sanity of Titanic. At least you knew what was going on in that movie and the captain never handed a large glowing ball to Jack for no good reason, nor did Titanic have five completely different and barely explained villains.

I don't know about you but I have never advocated that homosexuals, for any reason, be cut out of their mother's womb and thrown into a bin.
