MAD Star Wars spoofs recall a time when MAD was humor-capable

Working from memory, here is a funny example:
(from "empire strikes back" spoof):
YODA: "You've already learned to lift small objects and *forgets full quote*. Maybe there's hope yet!"
LUKE: "Next can you teach me to lift wallets and girl's skirts?"
YODA: "Then again, all is lost."
Not completely correct, i know.
Anyway, here it is; my sole contribution to this whole section of the forum.

"There's nothing wrong with anything."

Yoda: You've learned to lift small boxes and crates. You might yet become a Jedi
Luke: Can you teach me to lift wallets and watches?
Yoda: Then again, maybe all is lost.
Also, here's another spoof of Vader's entrance on the 2nd Death Star.
Imperial officer: My you look wonderful, have you been vacationing in the sun?
Darth Vader: Knock off the small talk, you're behind schedual.
IO: But sir, we're already working 24 hours a day.
DV: Then you must double your efforts.
IO: You want us to work 48 hours a day?
DV: Look, I'm a sadist, not a mathatician!

Cracks me up every time I think about it.
And onto one of my favourite scenes in it...
Vader: Well Calrissian. Did he survive?
Lando: Uh... I really don't think so. He looks like creamed spinage.
While we're on the subject of Star Wars humour, has anyone else come across that absolute treat "Tag and Bink are dead." ? That is fantastic.

Yoda - I am Yodel, the Jedi master. I can teach you how to lift rocks, how to transmute metals and how to catch flies on your tongue. I also give an advanced course in cute.
Luke - Great. Let's get started.
Yoda - The first thing you must learn is patience.
Luke - Don't talk to me about patience. I've got tonnes of patience. Now let's get going, you slimy twit!

i like the pulp fiction one with Han and Lando ball gagged and tied to chairs with Darth Vader saying "bring out the gimp!"

The mag just isn't as sharp as it use to be. Those old MAD spoofs are fantastic. I've seen the spoofs of the Prequels so far and they just don't hit the marks. They go for the obvious and everything that's been made fun of in the Prequels has already been observed by everyone else.
Man, a lot of things haven't been the same before the '90's.
Lando: Uh... I really don't think so. He looks like creamed spinage.
Vader: That is cream spinach. Capt. Solo is over there...

Battle for the Galaxy--read the "other Star Wars"
All I know is I haven't seen the real prequels yet.

That magazine is at home in Australia. Wish I had it handy at the moment - but that distance thing is a bit of an issue.
Made a quick search to find the mentioned MAD cartoons and I found this:

Oona goota Solo? Priceless for people like me who hate the Greedo scene. Check out the comments from his fellow bounty hunters.

(Far be it from us to break the trend).
ROTFL! That page was one of the funniest things I've read in ages.
