So, a guy in a town I visit pretty often robbed a convenience store with a fucking staff. And it gets more awesome: The clerk fought back with a hammer. The link has surveillance video of the battle that followed. I dont know why either had the weapon they were carrying, but both of these guys had some balls on them. I'm waiting for someone to rob a store with a Force FX Lightsaber, cuz that'd be hilarious, especially if the clerk has one too. Attention convenience store clerks and robbers: make this happen, soon.

Yeah, but a damned staff!? That's frickin awesome. And then the clerk busted out a hammer! It's like gladiatorial combat just for going to get a slurpy. And it's a little less dangerous than an armed robber carrying a hand gun, or, if you're living in Deaucaons world, several assault rifles and an ABM rack. Yeah, more armed robbers should definitely carry martial weapons, and so should convenience store clerks.
