I seriously feel like I am the only person that still likes ska.
Maybe it's because of all the emo/metal trash that pop culture is constantly shoving down the throats of mindless consumers.
Or maybe I'm just a total loser.
Anyway, are there any ska-fans here?
Some of my favorite ska bands are the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Streetlight Manifesto, Reel Big Fish, and of course, the Toasters.

Ska, anyone?

I will ignore the fact that you mentioned Reel Big Fish. It's bands like that that made people hate ska so much to begin with. Personally, I still have a soft spot for the 70s/80s ska revival. The Specials, Madness, The English Beat, and the only ska/punk band I will listen to, Operation Ivy. And of course, I will continue to adore the Mighty Mighty Bosstones with no regard for the fact that their last few albums have all been pretty bad.
Bands I won't even touch? Sublime, Reel Big Fish, Save Ferris, Less Than Jake, etc. That whole ska/punk thing from the mid-late 90s was downright embarassing.
Oh, and you may want to look into Bedouin Soundclash. They're a Canadian roots reggae/ska band that I rather like.

Hang around age twentysomething or younger christians. I swear, 8 out of 10 can name bands and own recordings, 5 actually go to shows.
I thought this was some obscure joke myself, but then I did a little research and found it to be true. It's almost creepy.
But yeah I like ska. Haven't found a band that I didn't dig yet. Love the Aquabats, Skatalites, Bosstones, RBG... Less Than Jake not so much. I wouldn't change the channel if I heard one of their songs on the radio, but you won't see me actually paying money for their stuff.
Also, am I the only one OUTSIDE of Russia who listens to Leningrad?

Leningrad Cowboys? If yes: no. If no: yes
The only ska band I ever really loved was called Skunk. But they disbanded, as far as I know...Madness were great as well, as I come to remember...
