*fanboy mode* Of course the PT were better than Peter Jackson's LOTRs They were Star Wars. By merely implying that they might not be better, you have made me greatly anger *Exit fanboy mode*
But honestly, that is saying something.
Worst movie of the PT?

I'll agree, the movies LotR sucked compared to the books. But remove the books, and the movies aren't that bad. Remove OT, and the PT still suck.
[Qoute] it's not me using a double standard, it's you using a half-standard.
(that should be in someone's signature) [/Qoute]

I guess I am in the minority because I thought AOTC was an improvement over episode I. Both were terrible movies, but I was just grateful that I didn't have to sit through another two hours of that computer-generated nightmare Jar Jar Binks - possibly the worst fictional character ever created.

AotC.
I've finally seen all three of the PT as of today - rented TPM just so I could say I had.
RotS was bad/cliched to the point of being funny. It gets points for making me giggle almost incessantly.
TPM gets points for not having sucky love scenes (except 'Are you an angel?', which passes only because it reminded me of some of Atton's cut lines in KotOR II and made me giggle again). It loses points for Jar-Jar Binks, but gains them back for a coherent if not outstanding plot with a decent twist (Padme's identity).
AotC... the plot hangs by a thread, if that. Several of the sequences are video-gamey to the point of stupidity (droid factory, anyone?). It has terrible, terrible love scenes ('I don't like sand'), it has Jar-Jar Binks, it has Artoo's Mystery Jets. Unfortunately, they're not bad enough to be funny - they're just bad.

I dream of a better tomorrow... a tomorrow where chickens can cross roads and not have their motives questioned.
