Hold on... There may be no need for bloodshed. It might not be that bad.
I had issues with The Batman animated series for WB Kids
mainly b/c the art direction was too different
from what im use to but the show is good.
And if this Bruce Timm fellow is involved then
it will most likely be done right. Maybe

Also, why is this here? Did this suddenly become the Escapist forum in addition to the Yahtzee forum?

Yahtzee enjoyed hearing about Batman's recent (old, I think) visit to the Buckingham palace.

I disagree with the first statement. Anime can be good with a good story and a good writing staff. The question is, do the Japanese understand the bat-characters well enough? I saw what they were doing with Deadshot, And I'm not happy...
Although the second one I agree with completely.
PM me, we'll talk.

I'm only worried about Joker.
He's such a nice fella. He doesn't need all these fancy make ups.

They could have it made by the finest writers in the world, and inspired by all the greatest literature in the land, but nothing can change the fact that it's still anime.

And if it sucks ... so what? Batman is a franchise that will live on in comics and movies and cartoons and etc etc for a long time. Who cares if a mediocre product comes out once in a while? Batman Begins wasn't all that good either.
