I think he was confused as to why he said AT-ST instead of AT-AT. I guess it was because AT-STs are smaller and more kid-like than the big walkers.
That's real funny, but I understand that reproduction is a serious matter. I wonder why this scene got cut from the film? Did Lucas think informing kids about sex ed in machines was so bad?
My guess is that the story is that General Veers, after destroying the shield generator, decided to celebrate by having it on with a fellow Blizzard Squadren commander's AT-AT. Does Palpatine allow homosexuals in the Imperial Navy? It was a question that always bothered me when I used to watch TESB when I was younger. This screenshot has cleared up this question for me.
