Why would you want to be a tester? I mean, yeah, you'd play the game earlier than the rest of us, but you'd play the version which randomly stuffs up frustratingly, but still makes replaying it on the proper version less exciting.

Anyway, you're not supposed to be playing it to enjoy yourself, but to come up with ingenious ways to get stuck in the game, find spelling errors, bugs, etc. I'd wait out those extra two weeks.

It'd be interesting to see a game in its Beta stages, and it's up to you to fiddle around with it and find various errors and bugs in the gameplay. Y should get, like, a team of Beta testers to try out his games, rather than look to the group of people raising their arms frantically, jumping up and down, wanting their real and / or screen names seen in the end credits.
I'd rather wait until it comes out, mostly bug free. I can't wait to hear M0ds music for it, though. I loved his music for the various DAS games.
