My room...

Yes, yes you should shush...
My room is a reflection of me. That is, alternating between a bombsite, and suspiciously tidy. Currently, maths work is scattered across the floor (how I hate differentiation...), the typical heavy metal posters line the walls, my model painting desk is covered in paint (both in pots and out), and, for an odd contrast, I have one of those odd circular mirrors with the golden edge. You know the ones? With balls around. Like a window on a boat. It belonged to my great grandmother, and I'm quite sure its at least a hundred years old.
Plus, theres a pile of dirty socks on most days of the week.

When you lose your calm, you feed your anger.

Now resigned to a readership of me, my cat and some fish

I have the same problem with dirty socks covering my floor...only they're towels and not socks, and there's usually the occasional pair of khakis or a dirty t-shirt lying around. That, and a few dirty plates I always have to be careful to get rid of before they get fuzzy.
Weird, I obsessive compulsively wash my hands about twenty to thirty times a day, but I'm a complete and utter slob when it comes to my room. Maybe it's because the only places I ever really need to pay attention to are my bed and little computer corner.

I try (and fail) to keep dirty crockery to a minimum in my bedroom. Last time I left chicken bones about, it ended up with my thumbnail being bitten off by my old and moderately demented dog
Just...don't ask. It hurts just to remember the experience. My thumbnail is still an awkward shape.

Something of note: I have a have a foot high CD case tower next to my keyboard that I keep my jester hat on top of.
Just felt like pointlessly pointing that out.

No, I mean it's just the actual cases, not one of those plastic things to stick them all in. I just kept piling them one on top of the other in a neat little column.

I just turned round and looked behind me.
It's disgusting. Mess and crap everywhere. No wonder I can never find anything.
It's too big a job to tackle now. I'll think about it when I'm not too tired.
I think there's a family of rats under a pile of clothes on the chair. I'm too scared to look.
I'll have to pay someone. Someone tough and unshockable.
