When were these ones drawn? Are these from the 2004 Laura Redcloud Collection?
Indeed, I believe they are the only comics from 2004. It was kind of a dry year.

I like this comic a lot, as I enjoy all of your work Laura, but as my praise would be rather empty if I concealed my full honest opinion I have to say this: Eskimo's face looked a little fat in the first frame of the comic. the second and third frames were pure magic though.

Yeah. Even after all these years I've yet to master a simple and effective method to denote that the character is looking upward.
The not-quite-right thing that distracts me (and this could have been avoided with a little more time spent in Photoshop, I guess, but by the time it's scanned in I'm always so impatient) is that, if you look closely, you'll notice that the word "musket" is slightly darker than the surrounding words. A bit of behind the scenes trivia for you: the word was originally "gun," but I changed it to "musket" in post. I don't remember which was Lefty's original wording, but in recalling the story we both favored the more specific and archane terminology.

I couldnt draw half of what you do so reegardless you're doing way better than I am. I definately think you made the right choice, musket is such an under-used word and it fit very well into the dialogue.

Wow another update! It's madness. Great comic Laura, Eskimo is back to her waifish self and Lance looks Lanceyer than ever.

Thanks!
There's another update coming, plus Papa Redcloud's carol reviews this Friday and the next. It's a December Renaissance!
