I was watching bits and pieces of the Star Wars Holiday Special on YouTube the other day, and I noticed that Itchy (I think that’s who it was) Chewy’s dad, puts a very earth like cassette tape into that chessboard/gymnastics thing. He holds the cassette up for the camera for all to see. Absolutely shameful.

Hold on, I'll try to get a screenshot of it.
EDIT: Nevermind. Too difficult to get sorted out.
But yes, Itchy is holding a cassette tape.

at least it was a cassette tape and not an 8-track

But an 8track might have made it more humorous than tragic.
Ok, ok. It would have been close.

i have scratched at my head untill it is raw and bloody trying to get that stupid music out of my head!!! and your problem is with the cassette?!? (although that was probably the music tape)
in fact i'm going to sample that music. and i can because i wont get sued, because lucas knows that it he sues me he'll have to show the HS to a jury as evidence, and he doesn't want anyone to see it...

Aww Artoo, you're supposed to be watching that. Well bring Chewbacca to the screen, I want to talk to him.
It's that time of year where I play the SWHS in the background as I while away the workday.
Don't look so worried. C'mon Mala, let's see a little smile. ARTOO! What are ya doin'?!!

I can recall the more "special" parts. When I posted earlier, the SWHS was indeed playing in the background. And this year, I was reading Chefelf's review as the story developed.
I watch it (background noise, really) every year at work, the day before Thanksgiving (when it originally aired, it was a November holiday special). I've probably seen it seven to ten times. I'm not an idiot who thinks it's so bad it's good. But I'd rather endure the SWHS than Attack of the Clones; any day of the year.

Point well taken. And playing it at work is awesome. Do you laugh from the misery you cause others with it?
A friend and I would do that at a video store we worked at. Play anything absurd like Too Fast Too Furious while it gets busy, it led to Too many laughs later by angry customers.
