Still, a fellow New Yorker eh.
Whenever I say eh, it's really just ay in disguise. I have a Canadian grandmother. Because of this I now occasionally say ay at the end of sentences. At one time, during last spring, I was surrounded by her and her three sisters. You know that they say ay without even realizing it. It's hilarious.
"And the Evil that was vanquished shall rise anew. Wrapped in the guise of man shall he walk amongst the innocent and Terror shall consume they that dwell upon the Earth. The skies will rain fire. The seas shall become as blood. The righteous shall fall before the wicked! And all creation shall tremble before the burning standards of Hell!" - Mephisto
Kurgan X showed me this web comic done with Legos. It pokes fun at all six Star Wars films and I found it to be extremely entertaining.

And now for the pup!
Here she is as a baby pup. Note the loverly chair.
And here she is as an adult pup. Looking very proud and regal. Or distracted...
Please note how strictly I enforce the "no dogs on furniture" rule!!

I thought that was hilarious when you first posted it.
Edit: hmm, it doesn't seem to quote the quote. Oh well, I could fix it, but that would be smart.

The entity known as Mnesymone is composed of the memories of either one man with countless facets, or countless men. Its name is a bollocksed-up transposition of the name Mnemosyne - ancient greek for "Rememberess" to the masculine. It turns out it should have been Mnemosyn buit it had been Mnesymone too long to shake the habit.
Mnesymone itself was created in January last year, and became the electronic representation of the man behind it in all areas - though when he realised that he had buggered up his ancient greek he just adopted the name 'Rememberer'. Though Mnesymone is about eighteen months old, the man behind it is much older - he is a student in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The mostly nameless man behind Mnesymone has tried to track it down and the search ended somewhere near his collarbone. He currently believes Mnesymone resides in his brain, but is unwilling to undergo procedures capable of determing so for certain.
Mnesymone is also the name of the memory aspect of the triune soul in the philosophy devised by the largely nameless man. Mnesymone, a product of experience, balances the endless conflict between the emotional forces of Dionysos and Apollo. A certain degree of the person behind Mnesymone has escaped into the internet - he likes cars, particularly of German origin, is atheistic, left-wing and underwent a temporary hiatus from ChefElf.Com after having posts derailed by Hannibal. He is a Cardinal in the church of Slade, an Eater of Leeks, a Pirate of the Anger Clan, Jason Hale of Starry Nights fame and Just Your Average Video Goer of Lord of the Rings.
Oh, and Dorothy - firm tone, tell the dog to get off the chair, and possibly say "Bah!" - either that or take her by the throat, look her in the eye and force her to the ground.

Of course we will, fear not for I have found all who reside within these walls to be pinnacles of human kindness + friendlyness .
I've only been around a short while, but I do enjoy the conversation. That and the fact that I upped my post count from about 50 to about 200 in two days. What? I had some free time. College is starting back up next week and I won't be able to do that for awihle.

I'm fairly upbeat about a lot of things. I like to keep a positive outlook, but sometimes it's just easier to point out the seams all around.
Louis on the couch doesn't bother me anymore. Nice pictures, Dottie.
