I quite like being tall at 6'2". To avoid getting my eye poked out from a passer-by with an umbrella or catching the barman's eye in a busy pub. But cracking my head on low doorways designed from Munchkins is no fun, or trying to shoehorn myself into the loaned Mini while the truck's being repaired is quite a challenge. Makes me wonder how 6'4" Jeremy Clarkeson would manage if he didn't have such an eclectic choice of cars for being an over-paid Top Gear TV presenter.

I just fancy ice cream and go to the freezer. There is mundane strawberry, sinfully sensual chocolate but my 12 year old little pig‘s taken it, mocha yuk, something vaguely resembling a rocky road with bits of liquorice tyres in it, and a Sainsbury’s Jamie Oliver Taste The Difference Get Yer Laughing Gear Round Bourbon Vanilla! [Insert cheesy grin]

Instead, I settle for a splash of Macallan.
