i have noticed in british film and television that when someone makes, for an example, an omlet... it's completely submerged in oil (lard). and do you have any idea how much butter is required for eggs in a basket....
england is known for overlarding... but america fries things that aren't even traditionally prepared in a kitchen.

As above it was shock to me when I ordered chicken burgers that were submerged into a tray of batter.
Some day will such a trend exist to fry cigarette ingredients or maybe filtered in places where there are no smoking bans?

Actually, even apart from fish and chips (which are properly, and deliciously, fried) I was thinking of deep-fried Mars bars, deep-fried pizza, deep-fried pineapple rings, deep fried-pickled eggs, deep-fried Snicker bars, and deep-fried bananas, to quote a 2004 National Geographic article that came out the same time the study in the BBC article quoted early was published. I defy anyone to tell me that a novelty fried coke-batter cake, created to win a competition where the aim is to fry something ludicrous, is a worse reflection on the national cuisine of America than the fact that deep-fried candy bars are routinely and widely available on a daily basis in the U.K.

It is good for your teeth in the short term.
While that trend is growing there may eventually be a nation of sick people who have been coked in batter and people from India and other countries may start to move in and take over.

Though I have to say, when I read the title of the topic, I thought it was refering to fried cocaine. That would be a little more problematic.
