No, just no. Those always look crappy. It's like wannabe Machinima. Just make it in Machinima. It's not as hard as it sounds. I've helped with making a couple of Machinima before, it looks better than that, and its also easier.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Hell yes!

I want to see this. But I have a question: when you make a movie with 3DMM, does it compile it to AVI or MPEG or something? Or do I have to get the program to see it?

And you say the program is 11 years old? Hmm... it might just be old enough to work on my piece of crap computer... I shall check this out.

Frankly, if you're going to make a game about 5DAS, well then, can't you apply the sprites from the game to the models or something? Or at least use the same style? 'Cause that did not look like anything I saw in 5DAS. You gave poor Trilby a BIG nose, a tie on the outside that isn't neat, (highly uncaracteristic, might I add) a Caddilac. A Caddilac?! He's British for God's sake!

Unfortunately, a movie made after a game can't be assesed by story, and neither by acting in this case because it's animated. So, graphics is the only thing that can be judged, I guess. Well, graphics and how well it follows the game, but that last bit is easy.

PS: I would really like to see this movie, so, if you feel like sending it, PM me, or respond here, or something...
"Once upon a time, musta been 'round October, few years back, in one o' dose TOP SECRET LAB-MOTORIES de gubbnint keep stashed away underneath Virginia, an EVIL PRINCE, occasion'ly employed as a part-time THEATRICAL CRITICIZER set to woikin' on a plot fo de systematic GENOCIDICAL REMOVE'LANCE of all unwanted highly-rhythmic individj'lls an' sissy-boys!" You would need to own 3DMM, and about 50 MB of expansions, plus the program V3DMM to watch the movie, but I assume Scissorman would release an AVI version for everyone's convenience.

Anyway, the problem with 3DMM is that it was made for kids. None of the default models even remotely resemble any of the characters from 5 Days.

It would take quite a bit of model editing to make anything that even remotely resembles Trilby.

As you can see. It's a work in progress.

Scissorman, if you're serious about doing this, you've GOT to let me help you. Also, I'd recommend you join the 3DMM community and discuss the movie with them. Also, watch more movies.

Does it need voice acting?

HMC> How do you mod the characters? Which program should I download for that, 'cause there's a bunch of them. I really would appreciate the help, and I like that Trilby model you made, though I was planning on using a modified version of an actor and just have a prop hat floating above his head for the whole movie. The one aspect of this movie I'm absolutely certain about is the music, I've got an excellent selection at my disposal. As for voice acting, I don't know any English people, so I was hoping somebody here could lend a voice when the time's right. Oh, and don't worry, I'm not using that many expansions to make the movie, though I could still record it with Camtasia and release it as an AVI.

Er,. Well, I'd probably watch it, but I find 3dmm is only good for making really short, stupid, retarded movies. I know because I've used it to make a lot of those. Though hell, I didn't know there was actually any fan base for the thing.

Gibbering aside, go for it. Not a terrible idea.

Did I just say something postive? Balls.
I'm just here to point out your shortcomings and stupidity.
