On the general subject of Star Trek... It's a poll, rather obviously.

Shatner is God
But because I couldn't ever watch the original series, I have to be Patrick Stuart groupy. God I love Picard.

But but... he was a cash cow. If he stayed dead we would have the Star Trek Wars upon us (not to be confused with the Star Wars Trek).

No way. The only reason Spock came back was because Nimoy wanted him too. It was his conditionj to direct Star Trek III. A great character death cannot be shrugged off; ST III cheapened the best film in he series.

Well, at least you know he died. And Spock wouldn't act NEARLY as illogical as hypocritical jedis. (rant about illogic of jedi deleted) Oh, and by the way, I'm the only person who reads Otal's blog. Well, the only one who reads it regularly.

So Star Trek III cheapened Star Trek: First Contact? Whoa!

You card. FIRST CONTACT is one half ok movie (hampered by pointless Alfre Woodard and a Borg "leader" --- yeesh), one half terrible movie (the whole "First Contact" plot line was far less interesting than the Borg story).
WRATH OF KHAN has moments of turbulence, but all in all, it comes to a good landing.
