    I'm not looking for something to criticise you, nor am I writing this to draw attention to myself, or to make myself more interesting.

    Is it a conscious decision to do this? Is it the nature of your humor?

    Personally, I would like to see Trilby display some human characteristics. Let him fall in love, let him be jealous, let him become angry. It wouldn't make it funnier, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have a purpose. Just like it's always funnier to see someone you know fall on their face than with a stranger, it's in my opinion also beneficial to better know the people who are being funny.
