myspace wannabe celebrities

those of you that frequent myspace probably already know where i am about to go with this one.
youve seen them a zillion times on people's myspace pages,..phoney celebrity wanna-bes added onto their myspace so they look like they are really cool because they have connections with a famous person.
this is not to say that famous people dont utilize myspace, but come on, there is only one matt damon in the celebrity world,.on myspace there are many.
so, if you want to look cool, just seek out one of the many matt damons on myspace, and add them. then when they response and add you..you will look cool, cause you just added matt damon to your myspace page, which already has 300 other phoney celebrities on it,..everything from phoney 50 Cent to a fabricated Sade.
,..and if Matt Damon isnt for you,.then try Damon Wayans, any of the Baldwin Brothers, Britney Spears, Cher,..or any other 14 yr old that managed to concoct a myspace account and tailor-designed it specifically to look like the online diary of a celebrity.

Peter Brady was by far the ugliest Brady kid on the "Brady Bunch". I mean, they were all pretty ugly, and the fact that the Brady dad wanted to always take the boys out on overnight camping trips just a tad bit too often, gave me the creeps.

People really do that? *rolleyes* I don't use myspace so I don't know everything that goes on with it. I do admit to being "friends" with Elmo from Sesame Street and Ender from the Ender's Game series on Facebook, though. It's just for silliness, there, though.
I am writing about Jm in my signature because apparently it's an effective method of ignoring him.

Seconded. The creators had the right idea, the problem is that hte internet has become far too available to kids, stupid people and stupid kids. And horny guys who like sending pictures of their genitalia to girls.
Also, it's an auspicious hunting ground if you want your computer infested with virus.

i find it usefull for my music projects and keeping in vague contact with friends who've move out of state or overseas...
but there are far to many fan devotions to any given celebrity or band.
if a band has split up and someone has already created a fanpage... then my advice to anyone new is to admit you were to slow to be the number one fan and just do something different. also, bands that have official myspaces really really don't need fanpages... what's the point?
people need to get a life. the site is very handy for what's it's for, but no one needs a thousand fan pages. you're a fan that's great, but seriously, have a life people.

Actually, there is a reason for multiple pages for the same band. Say you want a song on your profile. To my knowledge, you can't just upload the song like you do your pictures, you have to link to a song that an artist has put up. Therefore, if you create a false profile for the band that plays the song you want and upload the song, you can then link it to your profile. I previously had Imagine by John Lennon. The profile that I linked it from was obviously false, but it didn't bother me as it allowed me to use the song. I assume whoever made the profile did it for the same reason.
Edit: Spelling.

Haven't we done enough bitching about Myspace on here?
not everyone gets friends requests, let them let off some steam.
