Why on earth these guys aren't widely known is beyond me.

Oh wait. No it's not. It's because they assembled by chance in a small town on the Arctic Rim of Finland. Not a place that big Record Labels usually scout for promising musical talent.

They sold everything they owned. The lead singer moved in with his parents. They recorded their music in his living room. Their office for a while was an old car. They were a miss-matched group: a Rock Singer, a Jazz Guitarist, an Industrial Machine keyboardist. Their big break came from a video game.

And their music is just great.

Alright, since no one ever responded to this, I'm going to shove you in a few directions that would have helped me when I was finding out about these guys.

Lift: one of my favorite music videos ever.

Carnival of Rust: a technical visual marvel and kickass song. #1 single in Scandinavia for a long time last year and voted best Finnish music video ever.

Locking up the Sun: The first Poets song I ever heard. At first it went right over my head. The second time to. Then I realized I absolutely loved it. Still do.
