My computer's hard drive is corrupted beyond repair. It's actually a bit of a setback.
At least I didn't lose some huge project I was working on. Just some images, mainly. And the computer's under warranty, so some punks should have the hard drive replaced soon.

Status update: New hard drive with more gigabytes than ever. Now the problem is software. I'm having trouble finding the CDs to install Photoshop and the special special floppy disk that has the FTP I use. And the copy of Firefox that I downloaded isn't working right, which just breaks my heart.
But fear not! I will continue to search, and if all else fails, I'll just download a cheap imitation FTP. I've got a thing or two worth updating with, so once the software problem is sorted out, I'll edit them to make sure they don't suck too much and upload away.
Can someone recommend a good download manager? I was thinking I might do better in Linux, I don't want to click on every file and folder to get everything I need for the disk image.

I recommend smartFTP, I should download it onto my new computer so I can update my side now.

Yep, SmartFTP works fine by me too. Run with that.
