I generally consider myself agnostic for lack of a better word(I don't know if there's a God or not, but I think there is), but according to a short (one word) note left on a philosophy essay I wrote, some of the ideas I figured up from my own reasoning match with those of deism.

1. Bush is president
2. 9/11 happened
3. Religious wars happened, if I were god I wouldn't let people declare war in my name since I told them to live in peace.
4. All the genocides (arwenian, the holocaust (choosen because they were both religious based genocide), etc)
5. People starve to death every second, while some americans each day eat enough food to feed the whole of Africa for a year.
Theres loads more but those 5 are all I can think of right now.

And when you think about it, all that shit you just listed off is our fault.
(...Well, not our fault personally, but mankind in general.)

There is no God. I can't see any proof of it. If anyone here comes with a valid proof of God, let me know.
I understand that having a fatih in God is a blessing. I wish I had that, and can derive comfort in this life by believing that there is a better life after this one.
BUt if there is, why exactly have we this life?
If it is only created by God to check out who is worthy of the BETTER life, then said God is the most cruel creature in the world.
Which by definition contradicts the notion of God, merciful and just.

That's right, I think people reincarnate. If there is a heaven or higher realm or something I don't think people can earn their way there after only a few decades of existence. Plus, if your life sucks you should get a chance at a better one, and you get as many chances as you need. Well, it may all sound silly, but it seems like a perfectly reasonable course of actions to me.
As for hell, I don't believe in hell. At least, I don't think humans go there. I think it takes a special type of Evil (note the capitalization) to be cast into that Realm, one that all but a few humans are truly capable of achieving.
It's hard to say with that kind of stuff. Heaven and hell always seem to be such black and white topics, but there are too many shades of gray to take into consideration.

In the immortal words of Chris Rock in Dogma
My belief just smashes a sort of 'Best Of' Religious incorperating reincarnation, miricals, karma, and all the things that fit me at the time.
I'd like to think there is a guy up there looken at us with his X-ray glasses but at times I do think to myself that all that is bull shit, then continue to keep my thoughts to myself.
Side Note: Someday I might bust out my nowhere-near-complete panthion of nerd gods. Pray that I will get it done someday.

My beliefs lie somewhere between agnosticism and atheism (I don't think there are higher powers, but I'm not adamant about it either.) I would like there to be reincarnation, since that would be really cool, but I don't really think that there's any sort of afterlife either. I derive comfort from the fact that time and the universe are infinite, and anything that happens here and now are relatively insignificant (despite the fact that probably most people would find that thought more disconcerting than cheering.) I don't really think there is any point to our existence, so we just have to make the best of it while it lasts.
Remember Emu's face, people; one day it's going to be on the news alongside a headline about blowing some landmark to smithereens, and then we can all sigh and say, "She was such a normal person".....
....We'd be lying though.

Maybe Heaven has the same thing, with a luxury set of clouds up top and access to god personal disco lounge. Always double booked of course, that why the Jehovas are picky about their room numbers. God's not very good with numbers, sincehe apparently forgives everyone and causes massive overcrowding, so Adolf is throwing up in the northcloud resort pool as we speak......
If there is a god, or goddess, or a big multiarmed elephant balancing on a mouse. They have a lot of explaining to do.

1. There is no God, quite creditable and the one I believe.
2. There is an evil God. He lets people in poor countries die from starvation, while working 16 hours a day, everyday, for a enough money to buy a few grains of rice a week (assuming their local has any/if the owner isn't dead already), drink water so poluted that drinking cyanide would probably be safer. While, in Richer countries people who never worked a day in their live, own like 7 cars and live in manisions the size of entire towns, eating caviar and drinking champagne.
Any God that allows this to happen doesn't deserve to be worshipped.

God's excuse for evil is probably sim city syndrome; he spends all that time making the land, sky, aardvarks etc that after a few thousand years of tinkering with his creation he just sits back to see how we end up on our own (and throws in a few earthquakes and forest fires to keep himself interested).
Kirby:
Bad luck dude, but I'm not going to hug you, that's not my style.
All in all I don't believe in God, or at least God in the Christian sense. If Kirby's anything to go by I expect to get struck by lightning at about noon.
