Hi Yahtzee,
A freind of mine is thinking of makeing a game he's considering doing a 3D horror game, it will be his first game and i dont think he knows of your games. However he wanted to know if i had any basic plot outlines, i was wondering if you would mind if i drew up a storyline very similar if not identical to 5 Days. I have no idea how far this project will go so please dont expect to much, im just the ideas guy
Thanks Magic

Y'know, quite a few people have asked if they can re-use one of my plots. To all of them I have said the same thing.
IT'S NOT THAT DIFFICULT TO COME UP WITH YOUR OWN IDEAS.

As I walked through the valley of the shadow of death, I realised that it could do with a lick of paint.

Dr. Lecter's Guide to Story Writing involving Serial Killers
1. Main character that is loviable rogue (preferably a criminal with honour or a good hearted mercenary)
2. Serial killer that strikes at random, preferable with an evil and twisted background.
3. Blood
4. A hot chick that plays a high up role and dies last.
5. The black guy that always dies first.
6. The main character is the only one left alive by the end.
7. Lots of pointless cutscenes just to scare the player
And yes I was talking the piss

Wouldn't you actually like the project better if you could honestly say the stuff you contributed was your own work?
I mean, if you have enough of a creative reputation to be asked to write up plots for your mates, one would think you'd take pride in your own stuff...

I was planning to write a crossbreed of Enclosure (Femo Duo Entertainment) and 5 Days (Yahtzee) as i am fond of both games, i have however realized that the idea was in fact stupid. When the game was released the author would have been criticized and people would likely reject his debut game.

Like not killing the black guy first? (Points out the first guy killed in 7 days a skeptic)
Ha I just started learning C++ and yet anything I make in it does sod all, I assume soon I'll get to a point where it stops being a load of text and becomes something violent.

Did I mention my short-lived flirtation with AGS? I gave up when I realised I didn't have a good idea, couldn't draw anything worth a rats ass in Paint, and was just lazy. Ah well...

Ah yes, AGS, I can draw and animate really well, but after doing everything else that possibly needs doing I always become stumped with Game Scripting, seriously I don’t have a freaking clue…
“Hey George, How’s your game art going?”
“Great thanks! I just finished another 2 animation cycles and 3 rooms!”
“Good to hear! Have you gotten around to scripting it yet?”
“……”
“George?”
“I was going so well… I was just getting over it… but no!… BUT NOOoooOO!! You have to go and bring it UP!!?! Do YOU ENJOY this!? HUH!? RUINING MY PATIENCE!!?!
“George! You’re getting violent!”
It is around this time that I eventually wake up in an orphanage or homeless shelter… covered in blood…… anyway… yes… AGS is highly recommended…
