Did he tell you how it happened?
You know that is the good thing about raid controllers. I use to have 8 drives in raid 5 which were 4 gigabytes each. When one drive failed there no loss for me.
I brought a serial ata Seagate 120 gigabyte disc which I found was faulty after the warranty ran out. What will happen is that after zeroing the drive it will work okay even with a bad sector scan. But after filling the drive to the full, if something is written over deleted information that is when the problem starts. The files written on the previously used space becomes unreadable whilst trying to read the disc. I just don't know if it is bad sectors or the circuitary.

I'm back. What I'm guessing happened is that my hd simply went bad though I think some of my more important data may still be recoverable. The moden was shot too so I called it a loss and bought a whole new computer. Slade, you'll be pleased to know that this one has MS Word so you won't be having near as many editing problems.
Anywho expect a new update in a week or so.

I don't know about you but I have never advocated that homosexuals, for any reason, be cut out of their mother's womb and thrown into a bin.

There was a thunder storm going on at the time. The modem was on the fritz for a while before that though, so I don't know.
