Halloween

I decided this merited its own thread.
What are everyone's plans for Halloween? How are you going to celebrate, how are you dressing, all of that.
Plus...
I need costume suggestions!

I am writing about Jm in my signature because apparently it's an effective method of ignoring him.

After last year's flop, I'm a bit sick of my usual routine. So if I can get all the materials together and learn how to sew properly in time, I'm dressing as an evil jester. If I can't, I'll take the quickie cheap route by throwing on my bathroom and a pair of pajama pants and telling everyone I'm a female Arthur Dent.
If I'm feeling particularly bold that day (a Monday), I may even wear the costume to class regardless of which I end up with.
As for suggestions for you...well, I can only think of another quickie cheap costume: tape an "H" to your forehead and tell everyone you're a hologram.

Check out my crappy drawings!

My goal is to pull off being Gene Wilder's Willy Wonka this year, though I don't know if I can do it, as trying to find a real beige top hat and long purple suit coat is probably fairly difficult.

I'm sure everyone remembers my award-winning costume last year. Now to get to work on 05 after the children's book conference next weekend.

Our house is probably doing zombies again this year. However, while last year we looked like drag queens wearing tattered rags, this year we're planning ahead and doing make-up properly. And wearing tattered rags.

I'm going to have a mind-blowingly kickass costume.
I just have to figure out what that's going to be.

Remember Emu's face, people; one day it's going to be on the news alongside a headline about blowing some landmark to smithereens, and then we can all sigh and say, "She was such a normal person".....
....We'd be lying though.

I need suggestions for what to be for Halloween, too. I've only dressed up 4 times in my life - and three of those times I just went uber-punk/goth because it was cheap and easy.
and I'm going to a couple of Halloween parties, so yeah... if anyone can suggest something creative, and yet cheap (easy's good too, but not required), do tell... the "cheap" part of the equation is what makes things difficult.
