This is something that peartree form Lockergnome.com turned me on to:

It's called Perfect Keyboard and it's a program that will generate macros (text or otherwise) to get rid of annoying repetitive functions.

So, all you Crappy News moderators... you could, for example, store the entire news post template as one keystroke (i.e. F6) or even as a combination (Ctrl+Alt+T) to automate repetitive tasks.

It's very hand for anyone that does HTML and has to post the same text over and over. smile.gif

I can see my family doing lots of stupid things if I download it onto a family computer, so I'll run it up when I get back to uni. But sounds groovy!

If you want a text editor where you can record macros, use UltraEdit. It is also a HEX editor. Very handy when coding HTML.
