Ok, this got sent to me by a good friend, who let's just say is now my best friend ever! In case you like things that are good, you'll love this, but even if you don't you're going to love this, it's that good!
This is frankly and sincerely the best thing I have ever seen, and I am older than most of you and I have been a lot of places! I have been places I can't even talk about, they're so good, and this beats them all!
I wish there were a category for "Things that rock the party," because this would be pinned right at the top, and everyone would post in this thread and stop bothering with everything else, and just post here, and then we'd have world peace! In fact, somebody get right on that, because world peace would rock almost as much as this:
http://www.dungeonma...m/DMlowres.html
Yeah!

Yeah!

It had a url, so I would assume it's real. Or at least real in the online sense. Now, I've never played a role playing game, but does it usually invovle the players being shrunk down to fight an insect?

Well that was kind of fun. The beginning reminded me of Spinal Tap. (When I played D&D we made our own scorecards.)
But as for taking over one's forum, yeah we'd play for eleven hours at a time. I think their pace was a little quicker than that. Loved the background video.
It strikes me funny that there is a "bless" spell. Not that I'm against it at all. I'm hoping Creaux's midterms go well.

Hmm, my knowlege of D&D is limited to what I've seen in computer games(Neverwinter Nights, Baldur's Gate series, Icewind Dale series, Temple of Element Evil and Planescape:Torment, off the top of my head), but Bless is the basic 1st level cleric spell, giving +1 attack and damage to all allies, for about 1 round(or turn, i forget)per caster level.

The best thing about this show is that they have live screenings, and the cast are present. Only in Hollywood!
The worst thing is that creepy guy. Like, am I supposed to get turned on by girls playing Dungeons and Dragons in the company of this unshaven, cape-having loser?
Actually, I'll amend the first notion: the best thing about this is that it replicates the actual experience of playing one of those games: the girls are into it, and having a good time; at the same time they're totally bored; even the host is embarrassed by the game he apparently loves so much he'll star in a show about it, complete with little crappy animations.
The friend who forwarded it to me said he thought it might be better if the girls were topless, but I think that would taking it too far. Comments ? (nobody say "that would be over the top!")

That is a little bit of wonderful. That guy is a profoundly bad DM. I'm sure that's what they're going for. I hope that's what they're going for.

I've never played D and D in my life, hell, I've never come close to playing it. In fact, the only RPG, board game or video game, that I've ever played is KOTOR. But that was certainly, um, well I can't really describe it.
If it was supposed to be a parody, it was painfully unfunny (though that's probably just because I've never played it before).
If it was supposed to be real, then it's kind of pathetic.
If the girls were supposed to sex up D and D, they didn't.
So I guess what I'm saying is that Civ owes me about 4 minutes of my life back
