Nicely done.
My data suggests 26%. High, yes, but far from the majority. I would be very surprised if there was a country where smokers were the majority.

if you did so on your own merits, because it was something you solely wanted to do..then i respect your decision.
if you did so, because you fell under peer pressure, then i dont respect you.
it seems that too many adopt practices to try to remain cool to their friends and colleagues,.usually under the pretenses of peer pressure. underage drinking, getting a tattoo, tongue ring, or other lewd piercing, taking up smoking drugs, etc etc...
do what you want,.but dont let it ever be the result of you being forced to do it to stay in the "in" crowd.
screw the "in" crowd,..get different friends, cause they never really were friends.
Shit, Fuck, Piss: I had to say that because I can on this website. (Thanks Chef!)

Well I was thinking about the capitol (yes I know I forgot to mention that), which is the only place that counts for something in my point of view. In the country most people prefer getting shit-faced instead of smoking. They get buzzed in the morning and turn ploughing and woodcutting into extreme sports. Actually, this can be pretty amusing to watch. (From a good distance.)

Ahem...
Anyways, smoking indeed calms, and makes you not give a shit about anything, really, but not to the same extent of pot, I think, since I've never tried pot. And also adds like 10,000 cool points. If you're a rocker, and you smoke, the effect is doubled. And it's a proven fact that women like it when their boyfriends smoke, they find it quite sexy.
But then again, try running 30 feet. You feel like if you ran another 10 feet, you're going to fucking die. Not to mention that if there are non-smokers around you, they'll say you stink. But, you won't care, since you'll be smoking...
Smoking is a blessing and curse... So is quitting smoking; in the words of Bill Hicks: "I've quit smoking. Now, every cigarette looks to me as if it was made by God, rolled by Jesus, and sealed and moistened shut by Claudia Schiffer's pussy."

Where the fuck did you hear that? I'm willing to bet that it was a study performed by the good Dr. Joseph Camel.
I've never run into this. In fact, most of the women I dated tried to get me to quit smoking from the start of the relationship until the end. Even my fiancee, who also smokes, has been trying to convince me that we should quit.

@Bond: Yes, why?
@Barend: "basznak" (this would be the 3rd person plural form, present tense, nominative case); you got the other one right.
