Let me second what Gobbler and Blueskirt said by saying YES. VERY VERY YES. I only have the SEs of 5 Days, 7 Days and TN, (was too cheap to buy the other ones, but I sure want to) and they are some of the coolest things ever. There's so much backstory and fun stuffs that you find out! And no one else (except for Yahtzee and the other people who bought it, of course) knows! I mean, you can find out Trilby's real name! Among other things.
And I still prefer a pizza.

Pop quiz, hotshot. Garry Kasparov is coming to kill you, and the only way to change his mind is for you to beat him at chess. What do you do, what do you do?

Beat it. My face is exploded.
Mine as well.
Seriously, though. I had Jonathan Somerset pegged as Malcolm's uncle for ages. Heh. I wonder why I never made the logical connection of Father/Son.
I was able to guess that he was in the loony bin though. But that was somewhat obvious. Poor guy.

Alas, poor Somerset.
Edit: I kind of regret he won't be the star of 6DAS; the idea of running around in a half-buckled straightjacket whilst fellow survivors run from me screaming tickles me pink.

Strange, for I am convinced of the opposite.

Yeah, excellent build-up through these games. When they work.
The Inform 7 parser seems to have.. issues. In the first two if I typed 'look <object>' instead of 'look at <object>' the prompt would vanish and masses of empty space would spew out. Shortly thereafter the parser would crash.
I got through those by careful typing.
No such luck with game 3. As soon as I look at the phone or the page it blanks out. No matter what I type after that it blurts 'Wha? I don't understand.'
Anybody else having these symptoms?

I need some help please. In the second game I am at the point where I have taken the kitchen knife but I'm stuck and don't know where to go. Can someone please write down what I have to do so as to reach the end.
Nothing to it. Just remember what your objective is. Have you seen the room north of the staircase?
