Simply the forethought of a "Powdered Wig" shows the attention to detail Yahtzee made

Rather.

Is that a correction or an unrelated statement in the form of one word that seems to have no context nor have anything to do with that which you just quoted? If it's a correction, generally you should show what precisely you're correcting, though to be honest I see no need for that to be corrected, so it seems to me that you just don't make sense to me.
I'm just here to point out your shortcomings and stupidity.

Good, apparently I wasn't the only one who couldn't make heads or tails of that remark. I'm relieved.

Did anyone here use a walkthrough or hints for Trilby's Notes? I didn't except for the very last scene. Which pissed me off because I had already thought of dieing, but wouldnt let me. The hint I got just reinforced the fact I had to die. I still feel pretty bad about it but I wonder how much I would have tried the die command before giving up and trying something else if I had not read that hint.

I have finished it now. By sheer accident however.

Also what is the name of the weapon the Tall Man uses? Ive never seen it before.

EDIT: Also in reference to previous discussion on here I think I know what happened to the mind of John Defoe. The first page you get after seing John killed mentions his body and mind went to the manor. So both his body and his mind was destroyed with the house, leaving just his soul in the idol.

We've gone through all this before. I suggest you read the previous pages of this thread.

Just finished the game again, and i noticed 2 things. After Trilby dies, just after Lenkmann is killed by cabadath, Trilby hears voices in the "spiritual-plane" so to say. The first voice says go back, so it's not Siobhan talking to him, she would say come back, right? And since the dialogues change positions in the screen it looks like there are 3 "souls" talking to him. I guess one must definitely be Simone, the other two could be of Phillip and Abed, i wouldn't think of AJ, he never even talked to trilby. And on the credits, there's this sentence from the book of Chzo, when Chzo says to cabadath : But i will do this for you, O Arrogant Man. For all the BIGNESS of your head, you are still small enough to be spared the rigours of the dark ocean" The part he mentions the bigness of his head (his arrogance, his ego) If you pay attention, the neck of the tall man has blood, problably his own, and his head is too weird even for him, without eyes, mouth, etc. So i'm guessing Chzo ripped off cabadath's head and replaced with this one as a sick joke. It could explain why he decided to do this to Abed. Anyway, it's just a guess.

Or perhaps they're the extranoids. tongue.gif
I think this scene is much too ambiguous to jump to such conclusions.

EDIT: I mean, yours can be a viable interpretation, too, but there are lots of different ones. And unless Yahtzee starts making voice-acted adventure games (yeah, right) or he tells us what he'd had in mind, we'll never know it for sure. And it's a damn good thing we're kept in suspense with such moments. Personally, I've always hated those (mostly American) pieces of sh... uhh, fiction where everything is fully explained to the core, so that every dumb shit who plays/reads/watches it will know what's going on. Just compare Deus Ex to its sequel, you'll realize what I'm talking about.

After drinking the water in the basement, you mean?

You have to ask Chahal's permission to touch the sign in the artifacts room. Why do you say "it wont let me ask about the unicorn inn?"

I've never played Deus Ex, but i know exactly what you mean David-kyo. 3 minutes and the whole story is clear, i hate that too. There are some movies from u.s.a that are so obvious that you know what will happen in the next 30 minutes. I really hate that. Good thing yahtzee isn't from the u.s.a, otherwise all the 3 games would have explosions all the time instead of a decent story. The idol would explode, Sir Roderick would have killed John with a rocket launcher, etc. Pretty dumb. By the way David-kyo, you're a rpgmaker user right? I use it too, do you have a website or anything so i can see some of your games? Oh, and who are the extranoids??? blink.gif
