I wish my article on how much I hate Toad was still posted. But then, I was referring more to his somewhat uncredited appearances in the first game. I fully acknowledge his usefulness in the second game.

Agreed. Toad was very disappointing in the first game. And I wanted to smack Princess Toadstool in Super Mario Bros. 3 when she pulled that "Sorry but your Princess is in another castle" shit. :angry:

i liked the princes in the second one.
oh, i have played all the mega man x series, and have their roms, for the SNES. i haven't played all the others though. my favorite is megaman zero 2.

The greatest Megaman level is CrashMan from Megaman 3. The music kicks so much ass it ain't funny, especially in the Genesis remake of the first 4 Megaman games.

Why is Luigi getting such a bad rap about the jumping/flailing? Did you know if you jumped and then got hit you could go flying in the air, often skipping whole portions of levels that required you to enter low and exit high? The slow gravity on him is really helpful. Mario sucked in that game.

Luigi's moved to having blue denim overalls like his brother, but of course a green shirt and hat. Why do they wear white gloves all the time?

Super Mario world was really cool, almost tied with SMB3. The original Mario Bros. is catchy, too.

I didn't mind Luigi in SMB2. It's just that I couldn't resist the Princess and the power of flight!

Ack! I meant Megaman 2! The hovering thing is pretty cool though. Especially with the ole dusty game genie plugged into it with infinite hover. Lunar jump with Luigi is fun too, you can fly over the whole map.
