also, i liked final fantasy tactics. i saw this ad for a game called, the aformentioned topic title, and decided to look into it. it turned out to be a lot like FFT. except.
it was cel shaded 2-d characters.
it has voice acting.
a rather good storyline (in my opinion. dont be so criticizing.)
the battle system was simple, but could also be complex.
the leveling up was a hell of a lot faster.
the things you can do in the castle (you can actually move your character in between battles.) , arent a neccessity to know about to beat the game ( i haven't beat the game yet.). you can play the game with minimal knowledge, but, it's got a lot more complexity and depth than i care to admit.

all in all, this game has a lot of depth, but if you don't like complexity, or don't want to worry with it till you've beat the game once,(like me), it is also simple.

i just loved it.
